How to work with quote requests.

Who to answer first

On Basic and higher plans, filter the requests by budget or by service, so the largest jobs and the ones you do best get a reply first.

What customers want priced

The chart for question five counts how often each service is requested, and the budget chart shows the size of the jobs that come in. Build your packages around these numbers.

Every request in a spreadsheet

Export the requests to Excel or CSV on any plan. On Basic and higher plans, each new request can also go to Google Sheets, or to your other tools through Zapier or a webhook.

How to get requests you can price.

  1. Name the services you price

Use the names from your price list in question five. A customer who sees their job in the list ticks it instead of describing it.

  2. Ask for the number that sets the price

Rewrite the examples in question seven with your own unit: square feet, pages, guests or hours.

  3. Say when the quote will come

The thank-you screen says you will send the quote soon. Replace “soon” with a time you can keep, such as two business days.

  4. Confirm the request arrived

On Basic and higher plans, an automatic reply tells the customer the request is in, right after they send it.
