Switch without the stress

Your old survey keeps running

Importing only reads your form. Keep collecting in the old tool until the new survey is live, then swap the link.

No passwords shared

You connect Typeform or Google in their own sign-in window. SurveyNinja never sees your password.

Imported responses are on us

Responses you bring over don't count toward your monthly limit, so bringing your history doesn't eat into your plan.

Your dates stay right

Map the date column of an export and old responses keep their original dates, so period filters in reports cover them too.

Where SurveyNinja goes further than Typeform

SPSS export

Download responses as an SPSS .sav file from Basic, next to CSV, Excel, PDF and Word. Typeform exports CSV and Excel.

An AI report for less

Themes, sentiment, quotes and group comparison from open answers on Premium at $48.30/mo. Typeform's Smart Insights start on Talent at $119/mo.

Your domain and SSO on Premium

Run surveys on your own domain and sign in with SSO on a self-serve plan. On Typeform both need a custom-priced Enterprise or Growth Custom plan.

Closing rules from Standard

Close a survey on a date or after a set number of responses from Standard at $25.90/mo. On Typeform this starts with Business.

Edit surveys on your phone or your laptop

The whole builder works on a phone: questions, logic, design, publishing and responses. Fix a question on the way to a meeting, check new answers from the couch and finish the survey on your laptop.

Every section and setting fits a small screen

Questions about switching

Does the logic come over from Typeform?

Yes. Logic jumps and answer scores move with the questions, the welcome screen and the end screens. A Typeform field without an exact match becomes the closest SurveyNinja question: Contact Info becomes name and contact questions, for example.

Can I move my Typeform responses?

Yes, on paid plans. Turn on Transfer respondent responses before you move the form, and every collected response comes along, up to 10,000 per transfer. Imported responses don't count toward your monthly limit.

Is the import free?

Moving the survey is free on every plan, including Free. Response transfer works on paid plans (not during the trial), and if you pay for Typeform now, send us a screenshot of the bill and we'll give you a month of Premium free.

What happens to my Typeform account?

Nothing. SurveyNinja only reads the form, so it keeps working in Typeform until you replace the link.

Do I share my Typeform password?

No. You allow access in Typeform's own window, and you can disconnect it any time with the Unlink button.
