Quota progress calculator

See whether you will fill a quota by the deadline: current progress, average pace, the pace you need and the gap between them.

How quota progress is calculated

Formula

Progress = collected / target × 100%. Needed pace = remaining / days until the deadline.

Current pace

How many valid responses come in on an average day.

Needed pace

How many you need every day to fill the quota on time.

Risk

If the needed pace is above the current one, add a channel or adjust the quota.

Calculation examples

1 Main sample

Target 300
Collected 184
4 days left
Progress is above 60%, but you need about 29 responses a day.

2 Hard age quota

Target 80
Collected 31
3 days left
You need to speed up: a separate invitation wave or a broader source.

What to avoid

  1. Watching only the total The overall sample can be almost full while a rare quota lags far behind.
  2. Ignoring base fatigue The pace often drops toward the end of fieldwork, especially after the first invitations.
  3. Filling a quota without quality Responses collected in a hurry still have to pass cleaning and quality control.
